Abstract :
In this paper, far-field radiation pattern of wire-surface junction structures such as a monopole on a conducting plane, an open-ended waveguide and horn antenna are computed using the method of moment (MoM). The feed of the horn is a wire connected to the up and bottom surfaces of the waveguide, and the distance of the feed wire to the end of waveguide is lambda/4, the wire is excited by an unit voltage source in the middle of it. A new line basis function has been used in MoM. Numerical results are presented using the proposed method, which have excellent agreements to those from the commercial software.
