Be rooted in Internet environment, this study aims to investigate the self-organization attribute of VE by putting forward a conceptual framework about the four-flow-integrated operational mode of VE, which describes elaborately the self-organization principle of such four flows as the transaction flow, the material flow, the cash flow, and the information flow. This study would provide some important theoretic and practical implications for the development of VE.
