Abstract :
Magneto-acoustic tomography is a new EIT technology, which combines the traditional Electrical impedance tomography and Ultrasound Imaging, can provide high-spatial-resolution information. This paper expounds the steady state electromagnetic forward problem based on reciprocity theorem for Magneto-acoustic tomography. The FEM numerical simulation with a two-dimensional imaging model demonstrates the reasonability of the forward problem, improves the theory of Magneto-acoustic tomography, and also provides the theoretical foundation for the impedance reconstruction algorithm of Magneto-acoustic tomography. Furthermore, it does research on the impact of electrode placement on sensitivity of measured signal. This paper will give useful reference to further research on experiment setup of Magneto-acoustic tomography.
