Abstract :
An estimate method based on the result of electromagnetic filed simulation is proposed for practical electromagnetic environment testing. According to the trend of numerical result and the electromagnetic field strength obtained from one test point, electromagnetic field distribution of other places can be computed approximately. The feasibility and accuracy are discussed in this paper. And the impact of the distance between test point and radiation source is also investigated. Though the method proposed is simple to use, it seems attractive for those testers who are willing to improve test efficiency and avoid being hazard by the high power radiation.
