Abstract :
The purpose of the study is to share the students´ reflections and experience of having to submit a formative assessment using technology. Students´ assessment was aligned with current technological tools as a formative assessment integrated with evidence-centred model. Students´ feedbacks and learning journey reflections were collected. Findings from students´ reflections indicated they learnt technical skills and soft skills. They learnt technical skills such as creating the blogs. They also learnt important soft skills such as collaboration, communication and working as a team. They indicated they had anxiety when they were first informed of a different assessment format. They also mentioned they spent long hours in completing the project. Even though students indicated anxiety at the beginning of the project, most of them felt a sense of achievement. In general, the experience of having this assessment journey was positive.
