Abstract :
To ensure validity and applicability of computation results, the EM characteristic of a ship must have a full embodiment in the simulation. In this paper, concerning EM environment, configuration feature and RF function requirements of a ship, illustrates EM characteristic and error cause from two aspects, i.e.EM simulation model, computation and analysis method. Aiming at a typical example, analyzes the error in EMC simulation and RCS computation. It is proven that complex EM characteristics of a ship bring huge difficulty to accurate simulation, and the simulation modal and computation method are tightly connected to ensure the veracity of the simulation results.
