Abstract :
This paper deals with the adaptive control of a DC motor using fuzzy algorithms. The fuzzy logic controller attempts to tune the gain parameters in a PI controller without an accurate reference model of the DC motor system and tries to compensate for the parameter variations in the system. This paper also illustrates how to construct the fuzzy rules and the membership functions, which leads to an implementation of a fuzzy logic controller. Simulation results are included to show the corresponding behaviour of the fuzzy logic controller
