Abstract :
This paper focuses on the application of time reversal techniques using ultrawideband (UWB) electromagnetic waves in lossy dielectric targets. TR techniques exploit the time reversal invariance of the wave equation to take advantage of the retransmitted (time-reversed) fields for improved imaging and focusing. Using time reversal post processing data we are able to characterize the behaviour of lossy dielectrics.
