  • Abstract
    The goal of the first session is to set the ground for the rest of the sessions in the workshop. In order to meet the goal for the workshop of the assessment strategies in the new educational paradigm making use of e-Portfolio, a brief introduction and background information for the importance of the role of assessment in e-Portfolio is given, covering the role of assessment in e-Portfolio, the basic concepts and philosophy in assessment, the purpose of assessment in learning, as well as promising assessment strategies.
