Abstract :
We present simulation of unloaded Q of novel dual mode planar resonator and half wavelength resonator at 36,5 GHz and 89 GHz. Next the dual mode planar resonators are used to design a 2,75% narrow band four pole elliptic filter with 1,66 dB insertion loss and a passband return loss better than 17 dB at 36,5 GHz. Moreover a two pole micromachined filter is presented with 5,6% band, 0,4 dB insertion loss and a passband return loss better than 35 dB at 89 GHz.
