Abstract :
Model Based Testing or MBT has gained wide ranging popularity in very short span of time on account of its accuracy and inherent advantages. Still the industries are unable to reap its full benefits. This paper highlights salient features of MBT in industry and also enlists the factors preventing MBT from realizing its full potential. The paper also gives some solutions to mitigate these factors and indicates some new directions for extensive research in this field.
