Abstract :
EM dosimetry of a rat hippocampal slice in a stripline RF exposure system has been successfully accomplished after overcoming some technical difficulties in the FD-TD modeling. The model has revealed that the recording and stimulating electrodes on the slice can produce a maximum of a 10-25-fold increase in SAR, respectively, localized to the tips of the electrodes.
