Abstract :
In this paper, we have highlighted the significance of open source software for distributed computing environment. We have identified the open source software available for distributed computing environment and proposed a need of incorporation of dynamic load balancing feature in the commonly used Open source software. We have also proposed a model of a load balancing system useful for the open source software development.
