Abstract
A RF CMOS front-end with high linearity for the GPS system is described. The LNA has a single-end input and a differential output, the mixer uses the intermodulation distortion (IMD) sinking technique. The front-end achieved -8.5 dBm input referred IP3 with 29.8 dB power gain, an input 1-dB compression point of -24 dBm, and a noise figure of 1.62 dB, consuming 8 mA from a 1.8 V supply.
