Abstract :
In this work, the authors study Zener tunnelling in two-dimensional photonic lattices with three-fold symmetry and derive the generalized Landau-Zener-Majorana analytical model that describes the interband transitions at the high-symmetry points of the Brillouin zone. The paper also presents a particular case of the three-fold resonance which suggests that this effect can also be employed for generating two-dimensional Floquet-Bloch linear modes as well characterizing the band-gap spectra.
