Abstract :
Detection performance of a complex linear FM signal from a finite number of noisy discrete-time observations is discussed. The computation method of spectrum peak SNR is given. The detector statistic based spectrum peak SNR is constructed and the probability density functions (PDF) of spectrum peak SNR under the ´noise-only´ hypothesis and the ´noise-and-signal´ hypothesis are examined respectively. Simulation results verify the analysis.
