Standardization research of forest resource database both at home and abroad

Forest resource database construction is the most important parts of forest informatization, so its standardization will assist forest departments in protecting forest resource and improving utilization efficiency of forest resource. This article mainly discusses the standardization construction of home and overseas forest resources database. According to the comparison, Chinese government should strengthen management and integration of forest resource database construction. In addition, the paper provides suggestions of Chinese forest resource standardization and considers the obstacles in the way of Chinese forest informatization development.
