Abstract :
Rigorous analysis on the propagation characteristics of electromagnetic waves in a metamaterial cloak is presented. Fresnel´s equation of wave normals is successfully derived from Maxwell´s equation by studying the characteristics of a monochromatic plane wave propagated in a metamaterial cloak.
