Abstract :
To meet demands of sea-area management in Shenzhen, a sea-area management system has been developed in this study with COMGIS, workflow, WEB and database technology based on spatial information platform. This paper introduces the architecture, database structure, functional modules of the system and investigates the system´s technical characteristics, such as transplantable, multi-scale map representation, administration automation, and multi-source data integration.
