Abstract :
Metis Global Network is involved in ESL education, toward humanistic Beijing Olympics 2008. East meets West with ESL in China. It is an important experimental context for intercultural relations. In this paper we use the context of a private Chinese experimental school attached to Beijing University as an interesting setting to capture the complex nature of educational technologies in China, both the positive and the negative. This case study will describe some of the dynamics the relationships between the students, teachers, administrators, and emerging technologies
