Abstract
Uniform geometrical theory of diffraction (UTD)-based propagation models for Space Station Freedom (SSF) communication links are developed. A software simulator for generating simulated signal strength is presented. A comparison with experimental measurements was made for a typical simple SSF interference structure. Results along a typical TDRSS satellite pass for SSF-TDRSS S-band communication links are analyzed
