Abstract :
The edge-based finite-element method is employed to analyze deterministic bounded problems. As an example, the cross-talk levels, between the signal tracks of a shielded printed circuit board (PCB), are computed. The computed resonant frequencies are found to be in excellent agreement with analytical solutions. The solution is two-dimensional, and the system matrix is sparse and symmetric
