Abstract :
This work describes the design approach, the construction and the experimental performance of stripline like microstrip line hairpin-line bandpass filters and is based on theoretical interresonator coupling simulation technique. The present approach transforms the multicoupled lines in a hairpin-line filter into a set of parallel coupled lines so that the required structures for filter design can be analyzed using commercially available software. Results are presented for three filters on moderate (εr=10.5) and very high dielectric constant (εr=78.0) substrates
