  • Abstract
For a fluxgate of the time difference type, we can derive the relational expression between the time difference of the fluxgate and the magnetic field which is measured. If we suppose that the core transition time can be ignored, we can get the Mathematical model which the triangular wave and sine wave works as the excitation field, and then calculate the corresponding sensitivity. The results show that the sensitivity of fluxgates of the time difference type is inversely proportional to the strength and the frequency of the excitation magnetic field. If a Flux gate of the time difference type uses a triangular wave as its excitation magnetic field, it has a constant sensitivity and if it uses a sine wave, it has a sensitive curve of exponential. Preliminary results show that Flux gates of the time difference type have a high resolution, and it can be applied to the occasion of measuring weak magnetic field vector.
