  • Abstract
One spatial object´s location can be determined through analyzing the two pictures of the object, which are taken by two digital cameras. To this end, the coordinates of the object´s characteristics points must be calculated in the pictures. Usually the target center is used, instead, as its characteristic point. The paper first utilizes image processing technique to determine the coordinate of the round of the target. Then the location of the center can be calculated with matrix transformation methods. Finally, this process is implemented in MATLAB language and the experimental results are accordant with the actual values in the scope of permissible error rate.
