Abstract :
In this paper, we introduce a novel performance analysis approach which enables a unified and compact analysis of generalized combining systems (GSC), including conventional GSC and normalized threshold generalized selection combining (NT-GSC), in generalized fading channels. Performance measures are obtained through the derivation of the exact analytical expression for the moment generating function (MGF) of the diversity combiner output signal-to-noise ratio (SNR).
