Abstract :
In this paper, a system based on ZigBee is designed to monitor angle of the jib of the crane. With inclinometer sensor, the angle of jib can be measured. And the data are transmitted to the remote monitoring center through the wireless module CC2530. When angle is out of the alarm range, system starts the alarm device to warn the crane operator. Tests and experiments have shown that the system is stable and reliable, and can be widely used in industrial control field.
