Abstract
A near field coupling model, describing the interaction between scattering structures and recording marks, is proposed and used to analyze the readout mechanism of a Super-RENS (super-resolution using near field structure) disk. This paper compares signals of far and near fields using different detecting methods. It finds the mechanism of obtaining a super-resolution signal using a traditional optical system.
