  • Abstract
    Reducing networks energy consumption and extending nodes lifetime are two important issues in mobile ad hoc networks (MANET). This paper proposes a route selection mechanisms based on energy-efficient. An E-DSR routing protocol is also proposed, which combined with the new route selection mechanisms and mobility prediction. The simulation results show that the E-DSR protocol can extend the lifetime of node and enhance the efficiencies of the data forwarding
