This paper is dedicated to explore the dynamic performance of productive efficiency in service economy of China, utilizing panel data in sectoral level, taking capital, unskilled labor and technical pesonel into account, the study employ stochastic frontier mode, highlighting two dummies in tertiry which minify the deviation of estimated variables. The results show that returns of scale exsist in China´s service economy, in which employment effects of unskill labor contribute most. In sectoral level the potential of efficiency growth in State-owned and non-profit sectors are limited. Agriculture, Forestry, Animal,Husbandry and Fishery services sector suggest an obvious release in technical efficiency potential. The highly and steady TE coefficient in wholesale and retail trade illustrate a sustainability in growth potential.
