  • Abstract
Technology has always been a boon to mankind. It has paved way to design of various gadgets to ease our day-today activities. Here is a simple gadget that provides a healthy and safe means for cleaning the ear using the principle of vacuum cleaner. It can suck up wax and debris from ear canals and also water droplets with at most efficiency. Basically, the device consists of the flexi-tube for picking up the wax and dirt from the ear which is collected by a dirt catcher that can be cleaned and reused. This is accomplished by the use of a fan and motor. The motor is powered by a rechargeable battery source charged by a solar panel and there is also a provision for preventing the dirt or debris from entering the device. Hence, the motor and blades of fan are not affected. Finally, the air used for suction is exhausted out of the cleaner after it deposits the wax and debris into the dirt-catcher.
