Abstract :
In practice, each cell in the cellular system will inevitably be interfered by other cells (OCI). In this paper, both self-interference (SI) and co-channel interference (CCI) are considered in MRC systems employing maximal ratio combining under independent and identically distributed Rayleigh fading. Closed-form expressions for probability density function, outage probability of output signal-to-interference plus noise ratio and average symbol error ratio (ASER) of system are presented. Simulation results show that the results are consistent with the numerical simulation.
