Abstract :
The digital Private Mobile Radio (dPMR) is a standard for digital trunked system which is proposed by European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI). The protocol describes the Physical Layer (PL), the Data Link Layer (DLL) of Air Interface (AI), and the standardized services and facilities of the mobile radio. In this paper, we propose a Digital Base-band (DBB) processing unit, including Micro Control Unit (MCU), call control interface, channel codec and base-band modem, etc. The DBB solution is realized by Verilog HDL, simultaneously, Modelsim software is adopted to simulate all the modules of the DBB unit. The simulation and verification show that the designed DBB unit for dPMR works as excepted.
