  • Abstract
    The simulation of ocean wave is known to have great significance for the improvement of transportation on the sea. In this paper, the simulation of one fixed point on the sea surface based on ITTC two-parameter wave spectrum and directional spectrum is presented. In order to improve reality and real-time, we used levels of detail technology(LOD) programmed by Open Graphic Library(OpenGL) to simulate real ocean wave. The experimental results show that ocean wave looks realistic enough and satisfy the requirements of real-time, which indicates the proposed method is effective in the simulation of ocean wave.
