Abstract
Since there is no human-computer interaction (HCI) curriculum that can be adopted in different contexts, the study of the design of the HCI curriculum is an on-going challenge facing teachers, particularly in the field of software engineering. Against the challenge, not only the teaching experiences and lessons of the author in the last 5 years are summarized, but also those of the other teachers from the field of HCI education are investigated. Based on the Tyler´s principle and activity theory, the teaching goals system of the curricula is analyzed and the solutions to the design of the HCI curriculum are studied. Thus, we help the teachers at the early stages, who want to set up HCI courses in the field of software engineering.
