Abstract :
With the rapid development of World Wide Web based applications, web programming course has been an core courses for students major in computer science. How to improve the teaching effect has always been the main concern of the teachers, especially the teachers from vocational colleges. Firstly, through analyzing the characteristics of web programming and the existing condition in the teaching of it, we put forward some novel ideas on teaching contents, teaching methods, evaluation measures, especially stimulating students´ interest and confidence on web programming. And from our practice of these reforms, the proposed measures are effective.
