Abstract :
Workflow is a challenge tool for modeling planning and scheduling domain. There have been some works on the definition of workflow that allows non-expert entering knowledge on the organization process to be used in planning and scheduling. In the workflow model for planning and scheduling, activities may interfere with each other so as to bring on inconsistency, especially in a hostile or competitive environment. We used rules to restrict the relations of activities. Then we mapped rules to an ECA model. By theoretical analysis and simulation, the soundness and consistency of activities can be checked in the modeling phase.
