Abstract :
Design for Recycling (DFR) means that the product recycling performance is one of the designing aims at the design stage. Product recycling efficiency and cost will be considered so that its environmental impact can be minimized. At present, most of the tools of Design for Disassembly, Design for Recycling, etc. are independent of product CAD Developing Environment, it is difficult to benefit the entire product design. Product information model derived from product CAD model is put forward based on Ontology in this paper. It facilitates the integration of product CAX and DFR and supports the entire product lifecycle. Through reusing ontology, the disassembly ontology can be constructed. Based on this, the product disassembly strategy and algorithms will be gained and be useful to acquire the targeted disassembly scheme of product.
