Abstract
Cost effective EIT novel system was developed around 89C51 and used to generate the EIT data. The generated data was used to bring a recreated output images using EIDORS tool kit for MATLAB®. In the present study three inverse solver techniques were applied to three image prior selection techniques. The performance of nine different combinations was compared in terms of time consumed to reconstruct the image and the quality of the final image. It was found that when the Diff GN one step was used with Gauss-Newton Gaussian High Pass Filter takes only 0.591 seconds for reconstruction as compared to 0.969 seconds taken by the combination of Total Variation and absolute data using Primal/Dual interior point method used with Gauss-Newton with Gaussian HPF. The developed system can be used as a prototype in the laboratory for the evaluation of EIT technique.
