Abstract :
This test operated on an s195 diesel engine. The test results showed that the stability of n-carbons alcohol diesel was better than ethanol-diesel fuel. As mixed proportion raised, the stability was worse. The fuel consumption rates of hybrid fuels was higher than pure diesel fuels. The n-carbons alcohol diesel was better among them. But by the increasing of load, the gap between them droped. The mixed fuels in larger conditions remained low range of CO emissions. Small proportion of the n-carbons alcohol and ethanol-diesel was favorable on HC emissions. In most of the conditions, NOx emissions of the hybrid fuels were lower than the pure diesel fuels, and the n-carbons alcohol diesel was better among them. Soot emissions of hybrid fuels were lower than the pure diesel, too. And the n-carbons alcohol diesel was better among them. either.
