Abstract :
The recent research for radiated electromagnetic interference (EMI) analysis is often relied on electromagnetic field measurement like OATS and anechoic chamber measurement, which is not only expensive, but also complicated to some extent and not easily done in practice for fast analysis. To solve this problem, a fast measurement and estimation approach is presented based on current probe measurement and voltage probe measurement, where the radiated EMI performance generated by high-frequency (HF) circuit can be evaluated directly according to current and voltage measurement results. It is shown from the experiments that the results achieved by current and voltage measurement-based method in this paper basically agree well with the EM measurement results, which means the new method can be utilized in radiated EMI estimation with the advantage of simplicity, fast implementation and low-cost.
