  • Abstract
The conceptions of generalized grayscale and generalized histogram are introduced. A new lossless DEM data watermark sign based on directional wavelet and histogram shift has been developed. It can be used at integrity verification and lossless restoration. The watermark is generated by directional wavelet transformation and embedded by generalized histogram shift by comparing the extracted watermark by using key and the one computed from the reconstructed DEM data, the identity of DEM can be confirmed. It is a kind of blind watermark. The arithmetic can restore the lossless DEM data, and it is safe and not easy to be detected.
