Abstract :
A newly developed Synchro-to-DC Converter is proposed in this paper. It is based on the concept of pulse width modulation, which enables determination of the DC value of a synchro. The paper presents the generation of resolver format signals from a synchro transmitter using electronic scott-T circuit. Sine, cosine and triangular signals are used to generate pulse width modulated signal. The circuit design and implementation are described in this paper. The linear evaluation of time duration window (TDW) demonstrates the effectiveness of the proposed converter and the TDW is the prime measure of DC output.
