Abstract :
MPOA builds on many existing protocols and combines them to a scalable ATM based layer 3 switched routing solution. This paper starts by describing the implementation of an MPOA client for the Linux operating system and then proceeds to compare the performance and delay characteristics of an MPOA based solution against a “traditional” router based network where MPOA shortcuts are not used
