Abstract

The goal of this paper is to analyze the development status, the existing problems, and the strategic choices for the development of modern service industry in Nanning city. Firstly, we make an introduction about the overall situation of the modern service industry, and also make an analysis about the status of the modern service industry in the revenue growth in Nanning city. Then, we make a discussion about the existing problems such as that the regulatory package and policy environment are not very well, the inter structure within the service industry is irrational and the development is unbalanced, the gap of modern service industry between the urban and rural areas is big, and the high- quality staff is in shortage. Finally, we put forward the strategic routes and corresponding suggestions for the development of modern service industry in Nanning city.
