Abstract
Although the traditional shift share model has a widely use, it has many defects in the regional study. It can be developed into more revised expressions and extensions. In this paper, the time variable is introduced into the model and another mathematical expression is formulated. Then, an empirical study is conducted and the results have also indicated that the revised model is benefit to the regional analysis.
