  • Abstract
    To attain quite a high level of availability and reliability, there should be a fault tolerant Mobile Grid Infrastructure. Job execution is affected fatally as a result of the failure of the availability of resources. It has to be a fault tolerant system so that it satisfies QoS requirements. An effective and reliable Mobile Grid is still a dream for the developers of the distributed computing systems. Mobility can be a major issue towards implementing a Mobile Grid platform. In this work we try to show that mobility is a matter of concern when dealing with wireless communication networks. The primary focus of this work will be on the effective data transfer between the mobile nodes which has some limiting factors due to the mobility of these nodes. We try to formulate an algorithm which can address one of the issues identified as “frequent location updates”. These updates involve communicative messages occupying much of the bandwidth unnecessarily. With the proposed algorithm, we try to reduce those location updates making a better use of the bandwidth and thus improving the communication between the mobile nodes.
