            Abstract : 
Midband discrete cavity soliton (DCS) was shown for a laser with saturable absorber with a laterally modulated refractive index. These "midband" solitons have a fixed inclination and can be much narrower than solitons excited at the edges of the Brillouin zone. In this paer, we demonstrate the existence of "midband" DCSs in cavities with the purely refractive (Kerr-) nonlinearity driven by the external coherent optical field.
