Smart applications and technologies for public transportation

Celebrating its 141st year in Istanbul, the General Directorate of IETT (Istanbul Electricity, Tramway and Tunnel General Management) is one of the oldest organizations in Turkey. Establishing the world´s second oldest metro systems as early as 1874, IETT brought many innovations and services to Istanbulites throughout its history including the first metro system, the first electric tram service, and the first mass transit buses. IETT is also the pioneering organization who brought electricity and gas supply services to Istanbul households.
