  • Abstract
The classical channel estimator is a linear interpolator based on PSAM (pilot symbol assisted modulation). The interpolation length can be determined by the estimated Doppler shift because the channel variation rate is related to its maximum Doppler shift, which leads to an adaptive WMSA (weighted multislot average) channel estimation method to improve channel estimation accuracy. Simulation results show good performance in a wide range of velocities.
